For the first time in history, a commercial mission of uruguayan companies will travel to Collision Tech Conference 2019. The expedition will take place on May 16th - 23th, and seeks to promote the uruguayan tech industry in the market.
The delegation is led by Uruguay XXI and CUTI. Tagged along are a selection of tech startups that will have a closer look at the industry and develop new business opportunities. To be a part of this selection, the participants went through a revision process by the organizers of the mission. However, the final cut was drawn by Collision organization themselves.
Collision Tech Conference 2019
Known as the fastest growing tech conference in North America, it is also one of the most important ones globally. Its first edition was celebrated back in 2015 and for this fifth round it is expected that over 25k people attend the venue. Among them, 4k CEOs and more than 5k companies and startups from over 120 countries.
The event houses many independent conferences, besides exhibition areas, workshops, networking events, and more. The activities will be led by referents, investors, and entrepreneurs of the tech and innovation industry. The target is to share knowledge, experiences, and learn from other participants, through a positive synergy among them.
After three years in a row of the event taking place in New Orleans (USA), Collision will be settled for the first time in Toronto (Canada). More precisely, at the Enercare Centre; and will take place from Monday 20th to Friday 24th of May.
Companies meeting up at the conference are divided in two fundamental modalities, General Attendee Ticket or Alpha Startup Package.
General Attendee Ticket
All startups selected for this category will have a total of three representatives, each one of them will have a generic ticket.
This pass allows them to attend all conferences, with access to over a thousand talks. Not to mention, granted access to the Exhibition Floor, workshops and Night summits (night event of networking).
Alpha Startup Package
Only a lucky group of ten startups will be there as Alphas. In this case, all three representatives will have some exclusive benefits.
On top of the General attendee accesses, they will also be eligible for a pitching sessions, they’ll have access to the Request Investor Meetings (a base of investors present at the event), they will even have meetings with mentors that will show them tips and tricks to boost their business and its performance.
